Auf einer Pressekonferenz am Freitag den 21. Juni 2019 in Berlin erklaerten die Vertreter der Deutschen Umwelthilfe (DUH), des Verkehrsclub Deutschland (VCD), der Verkehrsunfall-Opferhilfe (VOD), Changing Cities und Greenpeace, dass in Deutschland als einzigem Staat in Europa auf 80 Prozent der Autobahnen ohne jede Tempolimit gefahren werden kann. Gaebe es ein Tempolimit von 80 km h ausserorts und 120 km h auf Autobahnen wie beispielsweise die Schweiz, koennten sofort bis zu fuenf Millionen Tonnen des Klimagases CO2 vermieden werden. Zudem wuerde es ueber 100 Todesopfer und mehr als 5.000 Verletzte verhindern. Innerstaedtisch wuerde zudem eine Regelgeschwindigkeit von 30 km h mehr Sicherheit

Auf einer Pressekonferenz am Freitag den 21. Juni 2019 in Berlin erklaerten die Vertreter der Deutschen Umwelthilfe (DUH), des Verkehrsclub Deutschland (VCD), der Verkehrsunfall-Opferhilfe (VOD), Changing Cities und Greenpeace, dass in Deutschland als einzigem Staat in Europa auf 80 Prozent der Autobahnen ohne jede Tempolimit gefahren werden kann. Gaebe es ein Tempolimit von 80 km h ausserorts und 120 km h auf Autobahnen wie beispielsweise die Schweiz, koennten sofort bis zu fuenf Millionen Tonnen des Klimagases CO2 vermieden werden. Zudem wuerde es ueber 100 Todesopfer und mehr als 5.000 Verletzte verhindern. Innerstaedtisch wuerde zudem eine Regelgeschwindigkeit von 30 km h mehr Sicherheit

Das Gelände wird heute vom Landkreis Esslingen als Lagerstätte genutzt. Mit einem Großaufgebot waren die Helfer angerückt da anfangs die genaue Absturzursache unklar war.
