c) Microsoft Clarity for Web Analytics
We use Microsoft Clarity on our website. The provider is Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052, USA.
Microsoft Clarity helps us better understand the use of our website and improve our services as well as the user experience of the website. For this purpose, heatmaps and session replays may be created. This allows us, for example, to understand how users interact with individual areas of the website, which content is used particularly frequently, how long users remain on certain pages, and where usability issues may occur.
When using Microsoft Clarity, the following data in particular may be processed: information about the device and browser used, screen resolution, language settings, approximate location at country level, usage behavior on the website, mouse movements, clicks, scrolling behavior, and technical information about the session. Microsoft Clarity uses cookies and similar technologies for this purpose, which may contain pseudonymous identifiers. According to Microsoft, the IP address is shortened or otherwise processed in a way that does not allow us to directly identify users.
We have configured Microsoft Clarity so that sensitive content and entries in form fields are masked as far as possible and are not recorded in session replays. Nevertheless, it cannot be completely ruled out that, in individual cases, usage-related or technical information may be processed that could be considered personal data.
The processing is carried out only on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. PostHog stores the collected data on servers within the EU or in third countries with an adequate level of data protection. You can opt out of data collection by PostHog at any time by adjusting your browser settings or using our opt-out option.
For more information on PostHog's data processing, please refer to their privacy policy at: https://posthog.com/privacy.
9. Social Media Plug-ins
We are represented on various online platforms within social networks for our own presentation, in order to communicate with the users active there or to offer information about us there. We point out that this may involve processing user data outside the area of the European Union. This may result in risks for the users, because, for example, the enforcement of the rights of the users could be made more difficult. We only work with US providers that are certified under the Privacy Shield or offer comparable guarantees of a secure level of data protection, so that they thereby undertake to comply with the data protection standards of the EU. Furthermore, user data is usually processed within social networks for market research and advertising purposes. For example, usage profiles can be created based on the usage behavior and resulting interests of the users. The usage profiles can in turn be used, for example, to place advertisements within and outside the networks that presumably correspond to the interests of the users. For these purposes, cookies are usually stored on the users' computers, in which the usage behavior and interests of the users are stored. Furthermore, data independent of the devices used by the users may also be stored in the usage profiles (especially if the users are members of the respective platforms and are logged in to them).
For a detailed presentation of the respective forms of processing and the possibilities of objection (opt-out), we refer to the data protection statements and information provided by the operators of the respective networks. In the case of information requests and the assertion of data subject rights, we also point out that these can be asserted most effectively with the providers. Only the providers have access to the users' data and can take appropriate measures and provide information directly. If you still need help, then you can contact us.
If you do not want social networks to collect data about you via active plugins, you can either simply deactivate the social plugins by clicking on our websites or select the "Block third-party cookies" function in your browser settings. Then the browser does not send cookies to the server for embedded content from other providers. However, with this setting, in addition to the plugins, other cross-page functions may no longer work.
a) Facebook
We use the social network Facebook, provider Facebook Inc, 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA, integrated on our website. aa) Facebook plugins (Like & Share button)

Facebook thereby receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click the Facebook "Like" button while logged into your Facebook account, you can link the content of our pages on your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to associate the visit to our pages with your user account. We would like to point out that we, as the provider of the pages, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. For more information, please see Facebook's privacy policy at: https://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php. With the help of the Facebook pixel, it is possible for Facebook to determine the visitors to our offer as a target group for the display of advertisements, so-called "Facebook Ads". Accordingly, we use the Facebook pixel to display the Facebook ads placed by us only to those Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our Internet offer. This means that with the help of the Facebook pixel, we want to ensure that our Facebook ads correspond to the potential interest of the users and do not have a harassing effect. With the help of the Facebook pixel, we can further track the effectiveness of the Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes, in which we see whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad.
The Facebook pixel is directly integrated by Facebook when you call up our websites and can save a so-called cookie, i.e. a small file, on your device. If you subsequently log in to Facebook or visit Facebook while logged in, the visit to our offer will be noted in your profile. The data collected about you is anonymous for us, so it does not offer us any conclusions about the identity of the user. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible. The processing of the data by Facebook takes place within the framework of Facebook's data usage policy. Accordingly, you can find more information on how the remarketing pixel works and generally how Facebook ads are displayed, in Facebook's data usage policy: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php.
You can object to the collection by the Facebook pixel and use of your data to display Facebook ads. To do so, you can visit the page set up by Facebook and follow the instructions there on the settings for usage-based advertising: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads or declare the objection via the US page http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU page http://www.youronlinechoices.com/. You can object to our use of your data for these purposes at any time by removing the Facebook pages of ProvenExpert on the https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/ page under "Advertisers and Companies".
dd) Privacy policy of Facebook
The processing of data by Facebook takes place within the framework of Facebook's data usage policy. General information on the display of Facebook ads can be found in Facebook's data usage policy (https://www.facebook.com/policy.php). Specific information and details about the Facebook Pixel and how it works can be found in Facebook's Help section (https://www.facebook.com/business/help/651294705016616).
